Blackened Shrimp Recipe Learn like a Chef 

Blackened Shrimp are a flexible and quick weekday dinner. Try them in tacos, lettuce wraps, spaghetti, rice, or alone!  

– 1 tablespoon chili powder – 1 tablespoon paprika – 1 teaspoon cumin – 1 teaspoon oregano – 1 teaspoon garlic powder – 2 teaspoon brown sugar – 1 teaspoon salt – ½ teaspoon pepper – 1 ½ pounds shrimp – 4 cloves garlic

Ingredient

In a bowl, mix chilli powder, paprika, cumin, oregano, garlic powder, brown sugar, salt, and pepper.

Pour the mixture onto the prawns and thoroughly stir. Allow it to marinade for half an hour.

Heat olive oil in a skillet on medium-high. Cook the prawns in a single layer for 2 minutes. Flip and cook 2 more minutes.

Stir in the garlic and heat for a further 30 seconds. When serving, garnish with lime wedges and cilantro.
