Celebrities at Game 1 of 2024 NBA Finals: Mark Wahlberg, Dana White, Eagles stars among biggest names at TD Garden

In these playoffs, Guy Fieri, Ed Sheeran, David Ortiz, and Drake Maye have visited TD Garden.

Ortiz and Maye missed this game, but many sports luminaries went, where the Celtics took an early lead over the Mavericks. Not only Patriots fans saw the Eastern Conference champs fight Dallas, but the NFL was heavily represented.

Fans of sports wouldn't have to look hard to find a known face at TD Garden. This goes for coaches, players, and even executives.

The NBA provided a list of celebrities attending Game 1 of the Finals at TD Garden. Among the notable attendees in the building on Thursday were:

1 . Celebrities at Game 1 of 2024 NBA Finaleam

The Wahlberg brothers are always present at big Celtics games, but Game 1 was exceptionally well-attended. The game was attended by several Philadelphia Eagles, UFC president Dana White, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola, and Geno Auriemma.

No Eagles events were reported in Boston on Thursday. They had required minicamp in Philadelphia earlier that day. That seems numerous players travelled to Boston for Game 1 with owner Jeffrey Lurie.

2 . Why are the Eagles at the NBA Finals?

Why? Lurie's Boston ties may explain it. Lurie, from Boston, graduated from Clark, Boston, and Brandeis universities. Lurie was an adjunct professor at Boston University before entering business.
