Jason Kidd says Jaylen Brown — not Jayson Tatum — is Celtics 'best player' ahead of Game 2 of NBA Final

Kristaps Porzingis' return changed everything. He gave Boston a solid lead with 11 points and two blocks in the first quarter.

Six players scored in double figures for the Celtics. As the greatest player on the floor, Jaylen Brown scored 22 points, blocked three shots, and stole three.

Kidd tried to make Boston's attention off of things by calling Brown the Celtics' best player during his pre-Game 2 media appearance.

Kidd was very smart when he told a Boston media room full of people that Brown was the Celtics' best player before Game 2.

"Well, Jaylen's their best player," Kidd said to start. "What he does to protect himself. He picked up Luka all the way across the floor and made all of his free throws. "Your best player does that."

"No response. Team sport. We know we wouldn't be here without JB. People want to divide us, and I think it's wise.
