The Best Bacon and Cream Cheese Stuffed Mushroom Recipe 

A bit sad! A beautiful four-day weekend is ending. We had two days of snow this weekend. It's finally warming up and the snow is melting.  

– 12 large white mushroom – 5 slices bacon – 1/4 onion – 1/4 teaspoon salt – 1/4 teaspoon pepper  – 1 teaspoon dried oregano – 5 ounce cream cheese – 1 tablespoon hot sauce  – 1/4 cup breadcrumbs  – 1 tablespoon chive


Adjust oven temperature to 425 F. After cleaning, carefully remove the mushroom stems.  


Leave 1 tablespoon of bacon fat in the pan after frying. Sprinkle oregano, salt, and pepper over chopped mushroom stems and onion.  


Simmer until onion is soft and any remaining water from the stems of the mushrooms has evaporated.  


Mix cream cheese, chopped bacon, spicy sauce, mushroom stem mixture, bread crumbs, and chives in a bowl.   


Stuff mushrooms evenly with ingredients and bake on a pan. Bake until top is crisp, 10–15 minutes.
